Please ignore the comments below. As usual with these things they were based off a Facebook post by a member of the community who had no contact with the school. Belle Plaine School District has a great relationship with the local legion and veterans as evidenced by the continued tradition of performing the salute. It's too bad people so ill informed from the outside feel the need to comment as if they know what is going on. Go Plainsmen!
